Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6 plus have reached Indian shores on Friday, as promised. Its worth to mention that it is fastest rollout in India after being launched in USA; the phones are made available in less than a month’s time after being launched in US. Despite of its premium price range eager customers queued up outside major Apple stores in Delhi and Mumbai to get their hands on the newest iPhone duos.
Both the phones are available in 16GB, 64GB and 128GB variants and here are the prices of all the variants.

The new iPhone 6s comes with 4.7 inch retina IPS display with 1334×750-pixel resolution and 326ppi of pixel density whereas the bigger iPhone 6s Plus features 5.5 inch retina IPS screen with 1920×1080 pixel resolution. Both the phones comes with new 3D touch technology which are kind of senses that let you perform different actions depending upon the pressure you exert on the screen.
Both the flagships come equipped with the new A9 64-bit processor aided by M9 motion coprocessor and 2GB RAM. According to the company, new A9 chipset is 70% faster at carrying out processes than the one on last year’s models. Moreover, the graphics processing and GPU intensive tasks will be 90% faster compared to previous series iPhones.
iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are 14 grams and 20 grams heavier than its predecessors and weighs 143 grams and 192 grams respectively. Major upgrades on the new iPhones are the better cameras; both now comes with 12 megapixel iSight rear camera with dual LED flash, OIS (optical image stabilization), 4K video recording and Slo-mo video support for 1080p at 120fps and 720p at 240fps. The front facing facetime camera has been bumped up to a 5 megapixel as compared 1.2MP on previous Gen models.
On the software front it runs on latest iOS 9 out of the box. For connectivity, you will get LTE advanced, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with MIMO and Bluetooth 4.2. The new iPhone duo is available in standard silver, space gray, gold and new Rose gold hue colors.
Powered by lithium-ion battery, iPhone 6S offers up to 14 hours talk time on 3G and up to 10 days of standby time while the 6S Plus offers talk time up to 24 hours on 3G and up to 16 days of standby time.
The device is already available via Flipkart, Paytm, Amazon and several other offline retailers.
