It is expected that Redmi 5 Plus will come with a 5.99-inch HD Display. Rumours say that it will be powered by Snapdragon 625 processor. As far as the operating system of Redmi 5 Plus is concerned, it might come with the MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. It is anticipated that Redmi 5 Plus has a 5MP front camera and the 12MP rear camera with LED flash.
It is speculated that, Redmi 5 Plus has the fingerprint sensor on its back. As per the rumours, Redmi 5 Plus has 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and USB Type-C in its connectivity section.

As per the reports, Redmi 5 Plus will offer two storage combinations which include 3GB RAM with internal storage of 32GB and 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage. It is said that Redmi 5 Plus has dedicated memory card slot so that its internal storage can be increased up to 128GB with the help of microSD card.
