Xiaomi has finally launched Redmi note 4 in India as promised in three variants. The Smartphone went on sale in China first while Indian variants get some more RAM, new processor, better design and similar aggressive pricing of its predecessor. Redmi Note 4 will be exclusively available via Flipkart from 23rd January 2017, 12 noon in Gold, silver and grey color variants while new Matte black color variant will be available soon. No pre-registrations required for the flash sales.
The affordable the 2GB RAM/ 32GB variant has been priced at Rs. 9,999, the 3GB RAM/ 32GB cost at Rs. 10,999, while the brute 4GB RAM/ 64GB model is available at Rs. 12,999. The Note 4 flaunts better design with metal unibody and 5.5 inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass, 1000:1 contrast ratio. The 2GB and 3GB RAM variants come with 32GB of internal storage while the 4GB RAM variant gets 64GB of in-built memory. The Smartphone supports a Micro SD card up to 128GB using a Micro SD card.
Powering with a new 2GHz Octa Core Snapdragon 625 14Nm processor coupled with 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM and Adreno 506 GPU. The Chinese version gets Mediatek Helio X20 Deca-core SoC. It runs of MIUI 8 based Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. The Hybrid Sim supported device fingerprint sensor at rear.
The rear camera on Note 4 includes a 13MP camera with dual tone LED flash, Sony IMX258 sensor, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and 77 degree wide angle lens. Selfies can be taken via a 5MP front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 88 degree wide angle lens. At tape, it measures 151x76x8.45mm and weighs 175 grams.
As for connectivity, Redmi Note 4 support 4G/LTE bands, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS+ GLONASS, Beidou, USB OTG and IR blaster. The Smartphone has a 4100mah battery which is a brisk update over 4050mah of Redmi Note 3 but considering the SOC Note 4 is likely to deliver better talktime and standby.
