Samsung Galaxy A series gets a new member in the form of A9 Pro (SM-A9100) that comes with some decent specs. The Smartphone has been priced at Rs. 32,490 and will be available from 26th September 2016 onwards in Gold, Black and white color options. On the design front the phone looks appealing thanks to metal frame and glass coating at rear just like A9 which was revealed in December last year.
The Smartphone looks huge as it sports a 6 inch Full HD super AMOLED display featuring 1080×1920 pixels of resolution. Under the hood is a 1.8 GHz Qualcomm Octa Core Snapdragon 652 processor accompanied by meaty 4GB RAM and Adreno 510 GPU. It bears 32GB of internal storage that’s expandable via Micro SD card up to 256GB.
On the optics front, it boasts a 16 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS). For Selfies and video calling it gets an 8 megapixel front camera supporting f/1.9 aperture for better low light imaging and supports features like wide Selfie, beauty face and palm Selfie.
Running Android Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box, the A9 Pro measures 161.7 x 80.9 x 7.9 mm and weighs 210 grams. The Phablet also has a Fingerprint sensor which is integrated into home button. Besides, it also offers range of sensors such as accelerometer, hall sensor, proximity, geomagnetic and light sensor.
Connectivity department includes Dual Sim, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 802.11ac, ANT+NFC, bluetooth 4.2, GPS/A-GPS and Micro USB. The USP of Smartphone is humungous 5000mah battery which is rated to deliver of up to 32.5 hours, standby time of up to 22 days and video playback time up to 26 hours. It also supports fast charging feature which can charge battery from 0 to 100 percent in just 2.4 hours and 32% in just 30 minutes.
