Motorola Moto E (2nd GEN) will make its way to India Soon with Bigger Screen, 4G and Lollipop

Motorola’s budget offering Moto E will now be available in more powerful version, last week Motorola mocked an announcement in the form of hand packaged and yesterday Motorola delivered a box with new Moto E i.e. Moto E (2nd GEN). Last year Motorola launched Moto E with just acceptable specs for Rs. 6999 which is now available for Rs. 5999 is now gearing up for round two in the form of Moto E (2nd GEN).

New Moto E is slightly bigger now sports 4.5” QHD display from 4.3” screen but still at (540×960) pixels coated with Gorilla Glass 3 and anti-smudge coating.

The LTE version of Moto E 2015 has a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Processor and 400 MHz Adreno306 GPU while non LTE version has a quad core 200 chipset and Adreno 302 GPU. Both the versions are coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via Micro SD Card.

It connectivity options includes 4G, LTE, 3G, Micro USB, Bluetooth 4.0LE, NFC, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and it packs with 2390mah battery from 1980mah which will last a full day.

In terms of camera new Moto E has a 5MP rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture and can record 720p videos plus there is a 0.3 VGA camera on the front which will not provide great selfies at all but it better to have VGA camera than no camera.

New Moto E runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and weighs just 145 grams.

Motorola is rolling out new Moto E/ Moto E (2nd GEN) in 50 countries starting from US, the 3G version will cost around $119.99 approx 7430 INR while 4G version will cost $149.99 which is around 9288 INR but it is not clear that whether 4G version will come to India or not as according to Motorola’s blog 4G might not be supported in all regions.
