As promised, HMD global has launched Nokia range of Smartphones in India which includes Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6. These are the first Nokia brand Smartphones to run stock Android out of the box and also the first devices after Lumia brand dropped Nokia nomenclature under Microsoft ownership. The affordable of the lot Nokia 3 is priced at Rs. 9499 and available in white, black and blue colors. The Smartphone will be exclusively available via offline retail stores starting 16th June 2017.
Coming to the specs, Nokia 3 comes with a 5 inch HD display with 2.5D Gorilla glass protection. Powering it is a 1.3 GHz Quad core Mediatek MT6737 processor clubbed with 2GB RAM and Mali T-720 GPU. It has 16GB of internal storage which can be further expandable up to 128GB using a Micro SD card.
It runs on Android Nougat 7.0 on its first boot and packs a 2650mah battery. The Smartphone sports an 8MP primary rear camera with LED flash, 1.12 um pixel size and f/2.0 aperture. Up front is an 8MP front facing snapper for Selfies. For connectivity, it has dual Sim, 4G VoLTE, bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Micro USB 2.0, GPS/A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio.
The device measures 143.4 x 71.4 x 8.48 mm and supports range of sensors like gyroscope, Accelerometer, proximity, e-compass and ambient light sensor.
