Vivo has introduced Y55s, brand’s latest Smartphone in the Y series in the country at Rs. 12,490. Y55s, the successor to last year’s Y55L comes with more RAM and better battery. It is available space grey and crown gold colors at retail stores across the country. In addition, it has split screen feature for multi tasking and unique eye protection mode.
Coming to the specs, Vivo Y55s sports a 5.2 inch HD IPS 2.5D curved display with a resolution of 1280*720 pixels. It is backed by a 1.4GHz Quad core Snapdragon 425 processor clubbed with 3GB RAM and Adreno 308 GPU. It has 16GB of internal storage which can be further expandable up to 256GB using a Micro SD card.
The camera segment is taken care by a 13MP primary rear camera with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. For Selfies and video chats, it comes with a 5MP front facing camera. The primary camera supports range of features like continuous focus, Geo tagging, digital zoom, touch focus, HDR, Panorama, white balance, ISO, self timer, screen flash, scene mode etc.
Running Android Marshmallow 6.0 with Fun touch OS 3.0 on top, it offers dual Sim, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, bluetooth 4.1, GPS/A-GPS, Micro USB and Wi-Fi hot spot. The phone gets power from a 2730mah battery which claims to deliver up to 11 hours of talktime and up to 250 hours of standby time.
